i'm Marco.
I started getting into mechanical keyboards around 2019 and it quickly went from hobby to something I couldn't stop thinking about. What captivates me isn't just the gear, it's the community, the craft, and the obsession over details that most people would never notice.
That obsession turned into khor.store, a small lab out of Bologna making custom cables, PCBs, and everything around keyboards. It grew rapidly, one cable at a time, into something I'm genuinely proud of.
A keyboard is part of your daily workflow, it deserves to be crafted to perfection.
The continuous research for improvement is what makes every build near perfection, that's why i can't stop building new ones. Building a keyboard is a hobby, building a perfect keyboard is art.
I care about accessible, well-crafted software. I bring the same attention to detail to code as I do to keyboards. Outside of that: energy drinks, Discord rabbit holes, and convincing myself I don't need another keyboard, though I always do.
the best part of this hobby is the people. Bologna to Toronto, same obsession.
I'm proud to be part of MKIT, the Italian Mechanical Keyboard Meetup, the largest gathering of the hobby in Italy.
Chatting about switches, keycaps, and endless Group Buy waits on Discord is one thing, but being in a room full of people who share the same obsession is on another level.
